Launch Day 2019! South East Utd FC

Our Season Launch proved a tremendous success, with a long, but fun, day at Pembroke Park.

The day began with a great Showtime Soccer School session, followed by three real quality opposition for our teams, thanks to South Hobart Football Club NPL and youth sides, and Kingborough Lions United Football Club's Women's Super League squad.

It was also great to finally get the opportunity to publicly thank our sponsors and, in particular, our new major sponsors, Galifrae Fishing. Galifrae owners, Sandra and John Parker, further demonstrated their commitment to the cause this week when they generously donated a brand new defibrillator to the club.

We also got to meet our new mascot, Rocky Lobster, who worked up a bit of sweat during a kickaround with some of our youngsters, before posing for photographs.

Our launch day also gave us the opportunity to unveil our new kits for season 2019. Our men's Southern Championships teams will wear a fabulous new all-red kit (modelled in the picture by Jamie (front centre)), while all senior men and women will wear a new training/away kit (pale blue shirt, navy shorts and sock, modelled by Nick (bottom right)), our youth and junior players will all receive a new training kit (the reverse of the seniors, with navy shirts and pale blue shorts and socks, modelled by Brigitte (back, second left)), and the coaches also have new gear (as worn by Andy and Glen). The women's main kit (modelled by Ash (back right)) is the same as last season, with the new sponsor logo added. Chris (front left) wore the new goalkeeper's jersey.

Thank you to everyone who supported our season launch and, as always, a special thank you to the wonderful volunteers who organised the whole day and helped it run so smoothly.
