Our Story

South East United Football Club strives to provide opportunities for everyone in our community to participate and develop in healthy, safe and inclusive football (soccer) activities in a fun family and community orientated environment.

The club is managed by dedicated volunteer staff, all of whom tirelessly provide their skills, time and effort to ensure the club is able to deliver a variety of structured programs to suit the needs of every player, from juniors and beginners right through to serious senior players wanting to play at the highest level.

We are one of Tasmania’s fastest-growing clubs in one of Tasmania’s fastest-growing regions. After only six seasons, we have already been elevated to the Men’s Southern Championship – the second tier of football in Tasmania – where we lock horns with the biggest and most established powerhouses in the state.

The club runs a hugely successful youth development program which has already won several league titles and produced some notable graduates. Tasmania’s best player and newly crowned NPL Player of the Year 2021, Kasper Hallam (now at South Hobart), is one such alumni, while no fewer than half our senior team is made up of young homegrown talent.

As a local community sports club, our main source of revenue is generated from membership fees and sponsorships received from generous individuals & businesses. These funds are then reinvested into the club to help us continue to grow and provide the best services for the benefit of all our members.

Our beautiful home at Pembroke Park will soon see the completion of a brand new sports stadium, comprising basketball (futsal) arena, gymnasium, conference and function facilities, canteen and bar.

We are now working hard to further develop our ground at Pembroke Park to compliment the new stadium and provide NPL standard playing and training facilities, allowing us to offer a complete pathway from junior football right through to the NPL and WSL, providing opportunities for everybody in our region to share the best and most affordable resources anywhere in the State.

We can only do this with the generous support of our local business community. Please take the time to have a look through our proposal. We are sure you will be able to find an opportunity to share this exciting journey with us. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
